What size are Mac App Store screenshots?
Apple's screenshot specifications list 4 accepted sizes for "Mac":

An image must match one of these exactly. A screenshot a few pixels off is rejected, and the checker tells you the size to resize to.
Which Mac screenshot size should you use?
Any of the four. They're all landscape and share one shape, 16:10, so a screenshot exported at 2880 × 1800 scales down to the others without cropping.
Are Mac screenshots required?
Only if your app is on the Mac App Store. Apple requires screenshots for each platform your app runs on, and Mac is listed with these four sizes.
What are the rules for every screenshot?
- At least 1 and up to 10 screenshots per device size, in each localization.
- .jpeg, .jpg or .png.
- No alpha channel or transparency. Export PNGs with a solid background.
