What size are 13-inch iPad App Store screenshots?
Apple's screenshot specifications list 4 accepted sizes for "iPad 13-inch display":
| Orientation | Accepted sizes (pixels) |
|---|---|
| Portrait | 2064 × 2752, 2048 × 2732 |
| Landscape | 2752 × 2064, 2732 × 2048 |
An image must match one of these exactly. A screenshot a few pixels off is rejected, and the checker tells you the size to resize to.
Which devices are in this group?
iPad Pro (M5, M4, and 6th, 5th, 4th, 3rd, 1st gen), iPad Air (M4, M3, M2).
When does Apple require 13-inch iPad screenshots?
When your app runs on iPad. Apple's required sizes are one iPhone group for every app and the 13-inch iPad group for apps that run on iPad. An iPhone-only app doesn't need them.
Do you need a separate screenshot for each iPad size?
No. If your app looks the same on every iPad, Apple says screenshots at the highest required resolution are enough, and App Store Connect scales them down for smaller iPads. You can still upload screenshots made for each size.
What are the rules for every screenshot?
- At least 1 and up to 10 screenshots per device size, in each localization.
- .jpeg, .jpg or .png.
- No alpha channel or transparency. Export PNGs with a solid background.
