What Launch Indie Apps is

Launch Indie Apps is a curated directory and launch platform for independent iOS apps. Browsing is free and needs no account. Makers can pay a one-time fee to list an app or to book a seven-day homepage Spotlight.

Listings

  • Listed ($19 one-time): a permanent app page, subject to approval.
  • Spotlight ($49 founding price, one-time): the primary homepage position for seven consecutive days starting on the chosen Monday, then a permanent listing. One app at a time. Labelled “Sponsored”.
  • Editor’s picks: apps we add ourselves, free, using public App Store metadata. Makers can ask us to remove one at any time.

“Permanent” means we intend to keep the listing available indefinitely. We may remove a listing where reasonably necessary, for example if the app leaves the App Store, its information becomes inaccurate, or for legal, technical or editorial reasons.

Review

Every submission is reviewed by a person, usually within 48 hours of payment. Payment is taken before review. Approval is at our discretion. We may reject or remove submissions that are misleading, fraudulent, harmful, unlawful, unavailable, inaccurate, unrelated to the purpose of the service, or otherwise unsuitable.

What you confirm when you submit

  • You are authorized to list the app and to let us display its name, icon, screenshots and description.
  • The information you provide is accurate and the app is available on the App Store.
  • You will not use the service for scams, fraud, malware, deceptive activity or illegal content.

No guarantee of results

We do not guarantee traffic, page views, App Store clicks, downloads, purchases, subscriptions, ratings, reviews or revenue. Statistics shown on the site are informational and do not predict any app’s performance. We guarantee only what we control; see the Refund Policy.

Payments

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record and handles applicable taxes. Prices are shown in USD before tax.

Content and trademarks

App names, icons and screenshots belong to their owners. Apple and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. Launch Indie Apps is not affiliated with Apple.
